Nighttime Skin Care Routine That Saved My Skin

I changed my nighttime skin care routine and my skin completely turned around. It's also cheaper! Pin now, read later.

Ladies, I am so sorry to  burst your bubble, but pregnancy is not always accompanied by beautiful glowing skin.  I had to change my nighttime skin care routine to support the needs of my skin when it dried out and erupted with pregnancy induced acne.

Worried as I was that my skin had taken a turn for the worst, it now looks better than ever.  Today, we’re going to tackle dry skin.  However, if you have oily or combination skin, don’t be afraid of moisturizer.  If you shy away from moisturizer, your skin may be producing more oil just to compensate.  Take a look at my skin care video for more details.

About the Products:

Garnier Micellar Cleanser-  I oscillate between the Micellar Cleanser  for Waterproof Makeup and the All in One Cleanser.  I wash my face in bed, as opposed to washing at the sink, because I’m just too tired by the end of the day and if I didn’t do it this way, I’d wash my face less often.  These are better than any makeup wipe I’ve used because they don’t leave a residue behind.  The goal is to remove products from your face right?!

Thayers Alcohol Free Witch Hazel–  Witch Hazel is great for acne, eczema and lots of stuff!  I decided to make the switch because I’m prone to hormonal acne breakouts and it’s also cheaper than the toner I was using before.  Toner is often overlooked, but it is actually an important skin care product.  After stripping your face of all the healthy oils from washing, you need toner to reset the skin’s normal pH.  This toner has bonus aloe and rose-water that your skin will love!

belif Peat Miracle Revital Serum Concentrate–  I’m actually excited to put this on my face every night.  This stuff goes on super thin and soaks right into your skin leaving your skin feeling supple, thick and healthy.

belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb–  I could use this product alone to moisturize my skin in the Arizona desert, but I prefer to reap the benefits of all these products, point is, this stuff is the real deal when it comes to moisturizers.

Too Cool For School Egg Mellow Cream– This protein charged night cream firms and softens skin for a more youthful healthy appearance.  Egg Mellow Cream was actually the first product I changed in my night routine and it served as the inspiration for the shake up that saved my face.

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Cream–  This stuff is the shiz.  I’m not usually so blunt and unapologetically enthusiastic about a product, but my ‘grumpy cat’ dark circles are an issue I’ve been working on for years.  I have tried literally everything and this is the first product that has worked so dramatically well that I can call off the search.  I’m so happy with the results, that I want to give one of you the opportunity to try it out.  Enter the April Giveaway for a chance to win a full-sized Bye Bye Under Eye Cream here.
